Inverters
What is an inverter and why would you need one? An inverter converts the DC voltage to an AC voltage. In the cases of boats, this is taking 12 or 24 volts and outputting power equivalent to mains power of 120 or 240 volts.
What's the difference between True Sine Wave and Quasi Sine Wave inverters? A True Sine wave inverter has an AC output with a sinusoidal waveform just like the AC mains in you house and will run all types of appliances - A quasi sine Wave inverted has an AC output with a chopped output and will work with most appliances but some will appliances will not run as efficiently such as refrigerators, microwaves and anything with a AC motor.
We have a great range of inverters to take your boats power supply and change it to mains power equivalent providing you with the option to run various household devices like phone and laptop chargers.
