Made of neoprene wetsuits, work by trapping a layer against the skin with the suit itself insulating that layer and keeping you warmer in cold water.
Your wetsuit should fit well close to the body whilst still allowing you mobility. Baggy fitting wetsuits won't do the job at keeping you warm. This is because it will allow water in meaning it never heats up and provides that insulating layer.
Our wetsuits have been chosen with cool UK water temperatures in mind and are ideal for a wide range of water-sport activities. Most of our wetsuits are 3mm or 3/2mm. 3mm refers to the thickness of the neoprene. A 3/2mm wetsuit will be 3mm throughout the body where retaining the core warmth is most important with 2mm panels to allow for flexibility and mobility. For water-sports enthusiasts taking to the water in the Winter or Spring months they should consider 5mm thick suits.
