Rigging tapes, or anti chafe tapes have been designed to be used on various parts on the rig of a sail boat where the sail might catch. They provide a high level of anti chafe, to aid the passing of sails or running rigging over them with out snagging.
Spreader tape is a durable and soft waterproof tape, it is ideal for capping spreader ends to reduce chafing of sails.
Rig Wrap and PROtect tapes, sometimes known as Millionaires tape, provide a friction free surface wherever they are used. A very high performance tape, they should also be used in places where the sail comes into contact with the rig. They ease the passage of sails on tack and gybe maneuverers, they also help ropes to run smoothly over those areas as well.
