Returning goods to Force 4 is easy!
- Please contact us by ringing 0345 1300 710 or email on [email protected]. This way we'll be able to determine whether you would like to return the product for a refund or whether you'd like to exchange the product. We are unable to process the return of faulty goods that we're not expecting.
- We'll then give you a returns number. This returns number will need to be clearly marked on the outside of your parcel so it can be identified on arrival. Please note, failure to mark a returns reference number on the outside of your parcel may result in a delay in processing your return.
- Don't forget your proof of postage, just in case!
- Once we receive the item we'll be able to proceed with a refund or an exchange.
*this excludes faulty goods with manufacturers defects. If goods are found to be faulty during use, after the returns period, please just give us a ring on 0345 1300 710 and we'll be happy to help.

- Jack the Giant slayer !
Having purchased and installed this on a Mirage 28 MK 2 masthead sloop in February, 2018, I found the assembly instructions very comprehensive and easy to follow . The parts were shocking ! I expected a bunch of “they’re ok for the price” pasts when I unpacked it all , but was amazed how well designed it was , the fit of components , everything about it said what’s the catch ! On installing it , everything assembled so easily compared to other brands I’ve installed .... I’m a retired sailmaker / engineer by trade so I’d know . The test came in practice . I’d highly recommend you purchase the furling line roller kit too for your stanchions as this is no Mickey Mouse furler and enabled me to fit a 150% genoa with no problems at all ! Out in the bay I ran her upto 2.3 knots past her hull speed so that rig was pretty highly loaded and not a thing gave way . I can’t recommend this highly enough if you’re on a budget but considering the more expensive offerings from Harken with their ESP range . You can install this with two pairs of hands , only to help push the foil sections aloft as you work from the foredeck , there’s no need to drop the rig , I did it in situ with cold hands from mooring alongside the pontoon in February . The delrin ball bearing system is terrific ! It’s not a sealed bearing unit that needs attention annually like many expensive furlers. The clearance between the drum and the balls is spot on , just run fresh water and a little eco friendly detergent down the drum from the top every few months ( could it get any easier ? ) to flush any salt forming and you’re away again . I’ll be fitting this system to my own yacht in the near future . Simple to work out Simple to install Inexpensive Great parts availability Forget the reviews of the much older versions , the 609 and the 811 in both S for single luff groove , and T for twin headsails options if thou want to goose wing a pair instead of save for a new spinnaker and you’ve already saved more than it costs from Force 4 Chandlery ! How’s that for a Jack the Giant killer ⛵️ Mark Hind on Wednesday, 26th June 2019
