Rope Clutches
Rope clutches are an important piece of deck hardware, particularly when it comes to running your halyards and control lines back along the deck to the cockpit.
They're one of the most useful pieces of line-handling gear on board your boat, making controlling and trimming your ropes and lines a much simpler task.
Most clutches you'll see are lever operated, making holding and releasing the line quick and easy. They have have one way grip, similar to cam cleats, allowing you to make adjustments one way with the lever down and the clutch engaged.
The come in single, double or triple configurations and are easily labeled helping to identify your ropes at a glance.
