Fender Inflation Guide
A majority of the fenders we sell are Majoni. In all Majoni fenders and buoys there is a strong brass valve for easy inflation and deflation.
The best way to inflate a fender is just pushing air pressure from a compressor (without a needle) against the valve and the fender will inflate. Not many people have compressor capable of doing this, so it is also possible to inflate the fender with a bicyle pump and the correct fender inflation adaptor.
If you have purchased your fenders in store, then they will inflate them for you if desired. If you've ordered them online, pop into store with your order and they will also inflate them for you. In the event you have some old fenders that need a top up it is also worth going in and asking if they can inflate them for you, normally it isn't a problem for a small charitable donation to the RNLI or local lifeboat charity pots on the counter.
If a Majoni fender valve is leaking you can replace it using an M3 Bolt. You turn the bolt into the valve and pull the valve out with a pair of tongs. After inspecting you can push a new valve or the same inspected or cleaned valve back in the tube with a pen.

Please don't use a handset pump with a pin (a football inflation needle) to inflate, because the pin can damage the valve.
The best inflation pressure for most fenders is around 0,2 bar. This is the pressure where you should be able to press the body of the fender visible easy with your flat hand. For deflating just push a pen slightly in the valve to let the air out. If you push to hard and to deep, the valve will be damaged.
Other Fender brands such as Dan-Fender, Polyform and Anchor Marine have different valves to suit their fenders. Always double check what brand of fender you have, or are purchasing, to make sure you get the correct fender adaptor for them.
Keep your boat protected on the pontoon or in the marina by adding a boat yacht fender. They will keep the side of your boat from getting damaged by rubbing up and down, or bashing into the pontoon.
Fender cover or sock/sox are great for adding a further level of UV protection to the fender. Fender ladders and fender steps offer protection as well as doubling up as an alternative way of getting onto the boat.
